A Letter to: My Doubting but Over-Beautiful Best Boy Friend

12:28 AM

Everybody speaks words of your hugeness, but she will not love you because you are.

Everybody speaks of your black-nakedness, which you took so improperly negative, but she'll never chastised you for that.

Everybody speaks words of your over-friendliness to women, but she'll never get jealous of it.

You know unconsciously how apparently sweet being you are, how you lend your ears when your friends talk their heart out.
How you speak for them when words fail to express them.
How you make them happy when their fondness over their men didn't work out.
How you talk softly to your baby nephew, and turning out to be someone so beautiful and caring.
How you unconsciously put up fences around Kate's, see how lovingly protective you are?
How you communicate conversationally with your mother, and with your brother too, but with silent recognition of love.
How you hug your friends so tightly and held their pieces together again.
How you make them feel better, strong even, after you shower them with sincere words.
How you look so defiant but heart-warming at the same time.
How you carry yourself with tautness and dauntlessness over the field, without realizing how beautiful it makes you.
How you feel so badly when she didn't recognize your worth and still, you've stayed the same but stronger, wiser, and even more resilient.

Nobody has ever spoken words about these, about how and what you truly are, that more than your physical qualities, the crust you envelope yourself, the one visible to every individuals' eyes, there is a beguilingly gigantic kindness embedded in your soul. A blurry and almost impossible to be recognize.
And yet, this true you, this kindness blossoming deep within your soul, is and will be the only thing that matters. The only reason why 'she', the woman who's meant for you, the woman who'll stop, look transparently through you and give time to understand, will fall. Fall deeply and helplessly inlove with you.

So never see yourself indifferently, because your not. She will come at the right moment and you'll know she's the one.
